Follow the opening, not just the tile.
Build a continuous syrup route from the top-left inlet to the bottom-right outlet.
Begin outside the upper-left tile
The inlet comes from the left edge. Rotate the first channel until it has an opening towards that inlet. A tile only becomes connected when the source can actually reach it.
Match both sides of an edge
An opening on one tile needs a corresponding opening on its neighbour. A channel pointing towards a closed edge does not connect, even if the tiles are next to one another.
Rotate clockwise and follow the highlight
Each tap turns a channel by a quarter turn. Read the connected highlight from the source to find the next break. Unused channels can remain outside the final route.
Leave through the lower-right edge
The route must reach the bottom-right tile and open to its right-hand outside edge. New swirl randomises the rotations again. The result is local feedback, not a prize, and the board does not survive a reload.
Both ends need a matching opening.
